Originally released in 2006, the Nike Powerwall pack garnered huge attention with limited size runs, one-off specials and re-introductory silhouettes. The pack consisted of 56 pairs all segmented into different categories, one of those significant pairs was the Air Max 1 Powerwall Lemonade - a sneaker which has stood the test of time, standing in high-regard in the streetwear market still to this day.
In an ode to the Powerwall Lemonade, Nike are set to fill the void from the original release by introducing the Air Max 1 Limeade in a ‘Pine Green’ colourway. A newly updated colour accentuated with the details, branding and materiality once used in the famous Lemonade sneaker.
The Nike Air Max 1 Limeade ‘Pine Green’ is crafted together from a slick mix of leather, mesh and synthetic overlays to round off the look. Catching the attention of many is the monogram, vintage-looking ‘Air’ branding that adorns the sneakers upper, with classic Nike swoosh branding present throughout. Additional embroidery makes up the finer details to the heel and underfoot, the visible Air unit ensures a comforting feel and enhanced look accentuated by a clean white sole unit.
