This oversized tank top with a mesh-knit weave and eagle intarsia is made from a 50% recycled cotton yarn confirming it as an item produced using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment: in line with the brand’s desire for an increasingly sustainable approach. The piece is part of this season’s Sustainable Collection, defined by strong, vibrant hues and inspired by far away, undiscovered, untamed worlds, in which the earth’s warm tones blend with the blues and greens of the forest, merging with exclusive tribal-influenced patterns. A versatile selection with a modern allure and oversized fit for both the Emporio Armani woman and man. The use of organic, recycled materials affirms the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and is the unifying theme on which the SS23 sustainable collection is based.
Made with certified recycled material: the fabric is made of 50% recycled cotton to reduce the use of virgin raw materials.

The capsule collection has embraced the opportunity to support Artisan Fashion, the first social enterprise set-up under the United Nations Ethical Fashion Initiative in sub-Saharan Africa that employs local artisans, mostly women, to produce apparel and accessories. The ethical project of collaboration with Artisan Fashion involved the production of an exclusive line of shopper bags available while stocks last, from the Emporio Armani design offices and made in Kenya by a community of women who, in addition to receiving a fair wage, have the possibility of changing their lives and that of people in their community.

The Armani Group subjected their environmental claims for verification by an independent third-party entity that made it possible to: · Evaluate the method of tracing of materials and associated information · Verify the correct formulation of the self-declared environmental claims, in line with the principles of 14021:2021 · Evaluate the adequacy and accuracy of the information provided in support of environmental claims.
