Jonas Mekas was an American filmmaker and artist who was introduced to Jackie Kennedy and her kids by Montauk photographer Peter Beard In the late ’60s. Mekas brought his 16mm Bolex camera out with him, and what ensued was "This Side of Paradise: Fragments of an Unfinished Biography." The rare footage Jonas Mekas captured of JFK Jr. and Caroline Kennedy served as an inspiration point for this collection and these faille pieces are named in his honor.This unique top is a mix of opulent faille fabric on the sleeves, combined with cable knit at the bodice and a rib knit at the back. The faille sleeves gather at the shoulders with a velvet ribbon tie at back and velvet ribbon ties at cuffs.Standard fit at body. Body: 100% Wool | Sleeves: 100% Polyester.
